I use positive, personal attention to improve riding and horsemanship.
In riding lessons we focus on enabling the horse to easily respond to your aids.
We also develop body awareness. Where are you tense? Where could you relax? Did you remember to breathe?
Body awareness helps form a more balanced, calm connection as you ride.
Riding lessons may include groundwork, because so much valuable partnership and communication happens when horse and human are eye to eye.
I may even jump few poles if it helps your horse.

As you gain more skill, you learn to face more challenges like guiding your horse through turns and managing energy.
You learn to speed up and slow down as you ask for faster gaits, from trot to canter.
We have a lot of fun working with obstacles and courses around cones and barrels.
It’s so rewarding to watch each rider enjoy reaching their goals with their horses, and grow in confidence and ability.
